Anthony Kiefer Obituary

Anthony L. Kiefer, 47, of Hamburg, who was known as "Tony", passed away on Sep. 29th in his residence. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carolyn (Weidman) Breidegam and Lawrence A. Kiefer of Wyomissing. Surviving, in addition to his father, is one sister, Melissa Young, Dillsburg, PA, an aunt, Barbara Lord, step-mother Elise (Miller) Kiefer and step-brother Joseph Ferguson of Brooklyn, NY. He was engaged to Chelsea Ann Bertolet. Tony loved "Dr. Who", the Jacksonville Jaguars, and horror movies. A Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11:00 AM in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 354 Zions Church Road, Shoemakersville. Friends and family may visit beginning at 10:30 a.m. Visit www.zionslutheran.org for directions. The church is located just off Route 61 south of Hamburg. Interment will be private. Mark J. Hummel Funeral Home, Lower Alsace Twp., Reading, is in charge of the arrangements.
