Michael Lewars Obituary

Michael C. Lewars, 77 of Spring Twp., died peacefully in his sleep on Sept. 12th in the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of Robin E. (Rhoades) Lewars. Born in Reading on November 29, 1940, he was the son of the late Melvin Gessin and Dorothy (Hopson) Focht. Mike graduated from Wilson and Penn State, then served in the Navy on the USS Santoval before starting a career focused in computer desktop publishing and repair. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Mitchell husband of Christina Lewars, Greensboro, NC, Dusti wife of Dustin Morton, Kalamazoo, MI, Charles M. Lewars; his stepchildren Jennifer Ott, Long Beach, CA, Peter husband of Elyssa Ott, Trappe, PA; 2 Grandchildren, Alexis Lewars and Noah Ott. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 3:00 PM in St. Albans Episcopal Church, 2848 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA. Interment will be private.
