Richard A. Pierce, 64 of Shoemakersville, passed away on Sept. 5th in his residence. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Donald Pierce and Dorothy (Hietz) Downey. Richard was employed as a truck driver most recently. He is survived by his sister, Rita A. Keck, Tobyhanna, PA. MARK J HUMMEL Funeral Home, Lower Alsace Twp., Reading has charge of his private arrangements.
