Anthony "Tony" Skwiat

Anthony "Tony" Skwiat, 64 of Sinking Spring, PA., passed away on Jan. 21st at  St. Joseph Hospital, Bern Twp., PA surrounded by his close friends and family. He was the husband of Lori A. (Lerch) Skwiat for 37 years.  Born in Reading, PA., he was the son of the late Anthony Corolla and the late Mary (Novak) Skwiat.  Tony had worked for over 20 years both working and being the owner and operator of Johnny & Hans Bar and Grill on Kutztown Rd., Reading.  He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and kindness. He is predeceased by a brother, Raymond J. Skwiat.  Surviving in addition to his wife is one  brother, Edward Skwiat, Reading, PA; sisters, Mariea Richards, Fl.,Joann Harding, Reading, PA, Debra Skwiat, Reading, Pa.  Tony loved his dogs and referred to them as his kids, Sassy and Tater and his dog Max who recently passed away.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  Relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
