Bertha J. (Hertzog) Hoffert

Bertha J. Hoffert, 90 of Cumru Twp., PA., passed away on November 6, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Hoffert who passed away in 2019.  Born in Ephrata, PA., she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Florence (Martin) Hertzog.  She was retired from Lucent Technologies where she had worked in Assembly.  She is predeceased by one sister, Ethel Eberly; one brother, Lee Hertzog.  Surviving is one son, Kevin E. Hoffert, Wernersville, PA; one daughter, Donna Finocchiaro, Smyrna, DE; two brothers, Lloyd Hertzog, Ephrata, PA, Laverne Hertzog, Denver, PA; 3 Grandchildren, Jennifer wife of Kenny Venarchick, John Boyer, Taylor Hoffert; Great Grandchildren, Kenny Jr and Kyle Venarchick; one Great Great Grandson, Layton Vernarchick.  Family and friends are invited to be received by her family on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  Interment will be private.
