Carol A. Swoyer

Carol A. Swoyer, 75, passed away on August 6th in the Reading Hospital.  Born in Reading, PA., she was the daughter of the late Albert Stewart and Ann (Fraser) Hoyer.  She was raised by her Aunt, the late Mary (Stewart) Nagle, husband of the late Harry Nagle of Birdsboro. Carol was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School ‘65, and later completed her education to be a Nurse.  She was predeceased by one sister, Patricia Kreisher.  Surviving is one son, Andrew C. Swoyer husband of Kellie A. Swoyer, Blandon, PA; one daughter, Christine R. Boud wife of Dean Boud, Birdsboro, PA; brother, Jeffrey Ibach, Pottsville, PA; 4 Grandchildren, Abby, Katie, Libby and Katalia.  Carol was a proud nurse for nearly 35 years having worked at the Reading Hospital, skilled nursing centers and the Rainbow Home.  She enjoyed playing the piano, especially at Christmas time, oil painting and playing bingo. Most of all, Carol loved spending time with her granddaughters who made her very proud. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 14th at 11:00 AM at St. John's UCC, 57 St. John's Rd., Birdsboro, PA.  Rev. Bruce Kreisher, Officiating.  Relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Interment will be private.  Online photos and memories can be shared at http://www.cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com
