David L. Henne

David L. Henne, 81 of Fleetwood, passed away on Dec 30th in St. Joseph Hospital, Bern Twp.  He was the husband of Eleanor R. (Stiegler) Henne.  Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Martin Luther and Laura (Obenhausen) Henne.  David enjoyed Hunting, Trap Shooting and was an animal lover.  He was a retired Owner Operator of D&E Express Fleetwood, and prior he drove for Textile Chemical Co. He was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ, Oley.  Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Susan E. Henne, Fleetwood, PA, Jill S. Henne wife of Tim Henley, Mineral, VA; sister, Barbara wife of Joseph Giarrizzi, Fort Myers, FL.; sister, Laura wife of Robert Trewella, Reading, PA; cousins Karl Lippold, Leesport, PA and Ruth Witmyer, Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by his siblings Marie Bucher, Martha Tobias, Donald Henne. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 11:00 AM in Frieden’s UCC, 337 Main St., Oley.  Relatives and Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in church.  Interment will be private.  Memorials may be made in his memory to Frieden’s UCC Church or to Red Creek Wildlife Center at www.redcreekwildlifecenter.com or to Animal Rescue League at www.berksarl.org.  MARK J HUMMEL Funeral Home, Reading has charge. www.markjhummelfuneralhome.com
