Donald R. Hess

Donald R. Hess, 71 of Exeter Twp., passed away on Nov. 17th in the Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of Kathy L. (Davis) Hess for 50 years.  Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond C. Hess and the late Hazle E. (Boyer) Hess.  Donald was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and had retired from Latshaw Brothers Concrete Co. as a cement mason.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the POSofA. He loved driving his Jeep among the mountains of CO and taking walks in the PA state game lands. Surviving is one daughter, Melissa A. wife of Christopher M. Wolfe, Exeter Twp., PA; one sister, Teresa A. Benne, Sinking Spring, PA; 2 grandchildren, Laura H. Hartman and Madison K. Wolfe.  A gathering will be held to celebrate Donald's life on December 3rd from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM at the family residence, 108 Nicol Dr. Reading, PA. 19606.
