Donald K. Spayd

Donald K. Spayd, 89 of Rockland Twp., PA., passed away on July; 15, 2025 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.  He was the husband of Jane C. (Stiegler) Spayd for 54 years. Born in Stouchsburg, PA, he was the son of the late John W. and Miriam O (Epler) Spayd. Donald was a truck driver for 54 years working for various companies in the area such as Green Spot Bottling, H R Ewell, and Textile Chemical Company until he retired in 2010 from Parker Trucking. He was predeceased by a sister, Constance Rogers. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Gregory Spayd, Florence, WI; Glenn, husband of Sylvia Spayd, Boyertown, PA; John Spayd, Lansford, PA; Debra, wife of Jason Cougle, Emmaus, PA; Jennifer, wife of Wayne Rothenberger, Temple, PA; Jody Geist, Fleetwood, PA, girlfriend of Stephen Smith; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11am, at Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main St. Oley, PA. Please omit flowers. Burial will be private.
