Dorothy D. Riegel

Dorothy D. Riegel, 91 formerly of Hamburg, PA., passed away on September 5, 2024 at Seton Manor of Orwigsburg where she was a resident. She was the wife of the late Alvin M. Riegel who passed away October, 2002.  Born in Ruscobmanor Manor, PA., she was the daughter of the late Elmer L. and Deborah E. (Whyandt) Breidenstein.  Dorothy had worked for 20 years as a Seamstress and then had worked for Post Precision Castings of Strausstown, PA. She had enjoyed Crocheting, Gardening and Butterflies.  She is predeceased by two brothers, Leroy J. Breidenstein and Paul Breidenstein; sisters, Pauline Qualio, Mildred E. Drexel, Anna May Murphy and Helen S. Weik; one grandson, Jesse Riegel.  Surviving are two sons, Neil Riegel, Hamburg, PA, Timothy Riegel, Centerport, PA; one daughter, Joanne J. Riegel, Birdsboro, PA; 3 Grandchildren Priscilla, Keith, Tiandra, Peyton, Quentin, Rosslynn, Trenton, Nevaeh, Leah, Lenyah; brother, Richard Breidenstein, Temple, PA, Elmer Breidenstein, Oley, PA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading, PA.  A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
