Elimelec Vazquez, 36, of Reading, PA, passed away on April 6, 2026. A man of deep devotion and tireless work ethic, Elimelec spent 16 beautiful years as the beloved companion of Jayleen N. Rios, building a life centered on family and faith.
Born in Reading, he was the cherished son of Wilfredo Vazquez Cotto and Norma M. Vazquez. Elimelec was a man who found joy in the simple, honest pleasures of life. Whether he was meticulously caring for his car or cheering on his favorite Philadelphia Eagles, he did everything with passion and pride. Some of his happiest moments were spent by the water with a fishing pole in hand, embracing the peace of the outdoors.
Above all else, Elimelec’s greatest legacy is his children. He was a devoted and hardworking father who lived for his kids, always striving to provide for them and surround them with love. His face lit up whenever he spoke of them, and his love for Elijah, Aliannie, Elias, Rubylyn, Josiah and Sofia was the driving force of his life.
He is survived by his companion, Jayleen; his parents; and his six children. He also leaves behind his siblings, Rebecca Colon, Wilnor Vazquez, Alfred Vazquez, and Jafet Vazquez, along with a community of family and friends who will miss his warmth and spirit.
A private viewing and funeral service will be held to honor his life. Online photos and memories can be shared with his family at cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com
