Harold Hartenstine

Harold Hartenstine, 83 of Muhlenberg Twp., PA., passed away on May 27th in Complete Care, Exeter Twp., PA.  He was the husband of Dawn L. (Rothenberger) Hartenstine of 58 years.  Born in Reading, PA., he was the son of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Gehret) Hartenstine.  Harold was a graduate of Reading High School, and a US Airforce  Reserve Veteran.  He had worked for Dana Corp. for 36 years as a press operator until he retired in 1999.  He is predeceased by one brother, Larry ForrySurviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jeffrey D. Hartenstine, Coal Twp., PA, Sherry L. Hartenstine, Muhlenberg Twp., PA; brothers, Dennis Hartenstine, Birdsboro, PA, Darryl Hartenstine, Reading, PA, Dale Hartenstine, Womelsdorf, PA,; sister, Marilyn of Kenhorst, PA.; Granddaughter, Amber L. Hartenstine; Great Grandson, Julian Byrne.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave.  Reading.  A viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
