Helen (Donchakj) Kovach

Helen Kovach, 97 of Frackville, PA., passed away on October 1, 2024 at Tremont Health & Rehab, Tremont, PA.  She was the wife of the late Andrew Kovach.  Born in Shenandoah, PA., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Glowa) Donchak.  Helen was a homemaker as well as a retired seamstress from Model Garment Co.  She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.  She as predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann Powanda; daughter in law, Debbie Kovach; two grandchildren, Lisa and Joseph.  Surviving is one son, Andrew Kovach, JR., Lebanon, PA; 2 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; Several Great Great Grandchildren.  Graveside services will be private upon the families wishes.  Burial will be at St. Michael's Parish Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.  Online photos or memories can be shared with her family at www.markjhummelfuneralhome.com  MARK J HUMMEL Funeral Home, 48 N Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville has charge of her final arrangements.
