John F. Heliger

John F. Heliger, 79 of Oley, passed away on May 3rd in Berkshire Commons, Exeter Twp.  He was the husband of the late Betty Jane (Frederick) Heliger, who passed away February 14, 2021.  Born in Quakertown, PA., he was the son of the late John J. and Martha Anne (Harte) Heliger.  He was a member of New Life Bible Fellowship Church in Oley.  John was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam era serving his tours of duty in the Mediterranean.   Prior to retiring, John had over 30 years of service with Brenntag Northeast, Inc. (formerly Textile Chemical) in Reading as a Truck Driver. Prior to that he had 10 years of service with United Parcel Service.  Surviving are his children, Perry J. husband of Kathie Heliger, Reading, PA., Matthew M. husband of Heather Heliger, Exeter Twp., PA; Stepchildren, Wendy J. wife of Jay MacDonald, Richboro, PA., Kerry R. Steich, Barry L. husband of Myra Steich, Gary D. husband of Carol Steich, and Sherrie K. Alsup, all of Quakertown, PA; Sisters, Martha Anne Fenner, Nancy wife of Dale Stradling, Kathy wife of Hardy Stanley and Susan Exner;  16 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren.  A Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM in the New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 W. Philadelphia Ave., Oley, PA. 19547.  Rev.
