Juan Figueroa Mercado Obituary

Juan A. Figueroa Mercado, 77 of Reading, PA., passed away on January 9th at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Norma I. (Hernandez) Figueroa who passed away in 1996. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Isaac Figueroa and the late Rafaela Mercado. Juan had been retired from the maintenance department of the Reading Hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Norma I. Carwll, Wyomissing, PA; sons, Pedro A. Figueroa, Juan A. Figueroa, both of Reading, PA, Luis Hernandez, Port Richey, FL; sisters, Ana L. Figueroa, Puerto Rico, Luz Figueroa, Puerto Rico; brothers, Isaac Figueroa, Reading, PA, Angel Luis Figueroa, Puerto Rico, Rafael Figueroa, FL; 13 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601. Interment will be held at Charles Evans Cemetery.
