Kerry L. Breidegam

Kerry Lee Breidegam, 64 of Mount Penn, passed away on April 24th in St. Joseph Hospital, Bern Twp.  He was the husband of Patricia A. (Shipper) Breidegam for 41 years.  Born in Reading, PA., he was the son of the late George and Eleanor (Ehrgood) Breidegam.  Kerry was retired from Aluminum Alloys of Spring Twp. where he had worked as a Supv. for 40 years until he retired in 2018.  He was sports card collector and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and very much patriotic.  Kerry is preceded in death by a brother, George Ehrgood and a sister, Bonnie Zerbe; grandmother, Mary P. Ehrgood.  Surviving in addition to his wife Pat of 40 years is one son, Kerry J. husband of Karen Breidegam, Gouglersville, PA; one daughter, Melissa A. wife of Alex Schmidt, Milford, DE; Step brother, George Breidegam and a step sister, Sherry Beck. 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Emily, Colt and Alexandra.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  A viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. COVID19 precautions please wear a mask and use social distancing.  Interment will be in Schwarzwald Cemetery, Exeter Twp.
