Mae A. (Reichert) Bowers

Mae A. Bowers, 82 of Reading, PA., passed away on April 9th in the Reading Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Douglas R. Bowers who passed away in 2010.  Born in Honolulu Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Bertis and Florina (Ferreira) Reichert.  She had worked for many years for Bortz Chocolates of Reading, and last worked for Prospectus Berco.  She is predeceased by a daughter, Michelle T. Bowers; sisters, Adaline Miller and Alice Stump; brother, Bert Reichert. Surviving are her children, Douglas R. Bowers, Jr., Wyomissing, PA, Troy D. Bowers, Muhlenberg Twp., PA, Daniel J. husband of Adriene T. Bowers, AZ, Christine L. wife of Dereck Sly, Muhlenberg Twp., PA.; Sister, Helen Weller, Altoona, PA; Several Grad and Great Grandchildren.  Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, April 17th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM  in the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading, followed by a Memorial Service held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will be private.  Online photos and memories can be shard with the family at www.cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com   CRAMP HUMMEL Funeral Home, Centre Ave., Reading has charge of arrangements
