Michael J. Krize

Michael J. Krize, 60 of Lower Alsace Twp., Reading, passed away on Aug. 6th at his residence.  Born in Luzerne County, PA., he was the son of the late Robert L. Krize and the late Alice Ann (McCartney) Krize.  Michael was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and a proud 20 year veteran of the US Airforce from 1985 to 2005 when he retired.  He had last worked for Brentwood Industries as a Quality Control Inspector.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Katrina Krize.  Surviving is one daughter, Erika Krize, Florence, SC; sisters, Judith A. Burns, Birdsboro, PA, Catherine M. Krize, Deal Island, MD; brother, Robert J. Krize, Reading, PA.  Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 21st at 3:00 PM at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  Relatives and friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.
