Miguel Moll Obituary

Miguel A Moll, 84, passed away December 15, 2020 at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia “Ginny” Vicente-Moll who lovingly cared for him until his final day. They were married July 17, 1999, together for 32 years. Miguel was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was the son of the late Petra Falu and Miguel A Moll. Growing up in New York City “Spanish Harlem” Miguel enjoyed Latin music, especially Salsa and Boleros. He enjoyed dancing and playing musical instruments. He loved playing Congas, Maracas, and the Gurio. Miguel also enjoyed watching TV, preferably westerns. Miguel moved to Pennsylvania in January of 1992. He was known as the “Candy Man” of the 1200 block of Linden because he loved giving out candy, cookies and ice pops to everyone especially to children. Miguel worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for over 40 years. He repaired boilers and machinery equipment primarily in the Laundry Industry where he worked for Clover Laundry Inc., Central Laundry Services, Adams Laundry Services and Mary Macintosh Industries Laundry. Miguel is survived by the following immediate family members: His wife Ginny and his children Maria Emilia Moll-Malave of Tampa Florida, Dennis Moll of Seattle Washington, Doris Moll of Huston Texas, Miguel A. Moll Jr of Huston Texas, Alexandra Moll-Phillips of Brooklyn, New York, Michael Eugene Moll Williams of Raleigh North Carolina, Miguel A. Moll the 3rd of Seattle Washington, his step son Lee Witherspoon of Reading, PA, his goddaughter Marissell Lopez of Tampa Florida, his cousin William Falu of Valrico Florida, and his last surviving uncle Juan Ramon Falu of Bayamon Puerto Rico, Miguel is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and four step grandchildren. A Christian Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Catharine of Siena Church 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Miguel’s Ashes will be flown to Puerto Rico.
