Ricahrd A. Derr

Richard A. Derr, 68 of Mt Penn, passed away on September 27, 2025 at Laureldale Nursing  & Rehab.  He was the husband of Robin E. (Spayd) Derr.  Born in Pottstown, PA., he was the son late Paul E. Derr and the late Anna P. (Latshaw) Derr.  He was a member of Pennside Presbyterian Church. Richard loved working in his garden, walking along the ocean, visiting Colonial Williamsburg and sitting on the porch and enjoying time with his family. 

Surviving in addition to his wife is one son, Robert P. Derr, at home; sisters, Linda wife of Herman Albitz, PA, Debbie  wife of Scot Miller, Boyertown, PA, Donna Derr, Eshbach, PA; brothers, John husband of Dorris Derr, New Berlinville, PA, Randy Derr, Eshbach, PA. He also leaves behind his loved nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Pennside Presbyterian Church, 253 N 25th St., Reading, PA.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Pennside Presbyterian Church, 253 N 25th St., Reading, PA. 19606   Online photos and memories can be shared with his family at www.cramp-hummelfunerlahomme.com
