Sigmund S. Witkowski, Jr., 74 of Birdsboro, passed away on Jan. 13th in his residence. He was the husband of Peggy Ann (Rauch) Witkowski. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Sigmund S. Witkowski, Sr. and the late Florence (Kozik) Witkowski. Sigmund was a graduate of Reading High School, and had last worked for Penske Corp. for several years until he retied as a Lead Tech Supv., prior he had worked in the early 1970's as a Police Officer in Berks County, Carnarvon Twp. He is pre-deceased by a brother, Edward Witkowski and one sister , Marcia Gensmer. Surviving in addition to his wife for over 50 years is one son, Christopher Witkowski, Elverson, PA; two grandchildren, Kelli Bader and Matthew Witkowski. Services are private at the request of the family.
