William J. Hartman, Jr., 82 of Centre Ave., Reading, passed away on February 22nd in his residence. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late William J. Hartman, Sr., and the late Helen L. (Pietrovito) Hartman. William had worked for many years for Quaker Maid Kitchens of Leesport. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Battle. Surviving is one brother, Lawrence C. Hartman, Reading, PA; sisters, Donna Davis, Reading, PA, Patricia Heintz, Fresno, CA, Nancy Brey, Leesport, PA. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
